The North Country Children's Clinic has a new executive director.
The board of directors named Daniel Wasneechak of Gorham, Maine to the post. He starts his new job in August.
According to a release, Wasneechak has over 30 years of experience in health care administration and currently serves as the director of government programs in Portland, Maine.
“Dan’s experience and knowledge are impressive,” said clinic board president Angela Gray. “He is a respected leader with a strong background in health care, finance, strategic planning and communication.”
Wasneechak is a retired U.S. Navy captain and began his career in health care in clinical nursing and held various nursing and health care administrative positions at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the TRICARE Management Activity Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
His experience in health care administration includes being a practice administrator for 16 family practice physicians, executive officer of a naval hospital, director of communications and customer service, and health plan strategist.
