Chili Cookoff Raises $ For Salvation Army

Tools

It was a warm response to a "chili" situation in the Watertown City Hall basement on Tuesday.

For the third year, city workers staged a chili cookoff to benefit the Salvation Army Kettle Drive.

At $5, it was a cheap lunch

With several varieties to choose from, declaring a winner was the tough part.

City workers will be staffing the Salvation Army kettle at the Salmon Run Mall on Saturday, December 8.

That's when they'll donate what they raised from the cookoff.

Last year it was about $300.
