Christmas Eve 2012: Church, Shopping...And A Mystery

Tools

You could figure out a fair amount about Christmas 2012 with trips to just three places Christmas Eve.

Late Monday afternoon, there wasn't an empty seat at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Watertown as an early Christmas Eve service was held.

Had you been at J.C. Penney's at Salmon Run Mall a bit earlier, you might have met the man we met, who has last minute shopping for his wife down to a finely honed skill.

And most of all, you could have gone to the parking lot of the Great American supermarket on State Street in Watertown where for about half a hour Monday a woman wearing a red coat gave Christmas cards to strangers.

Inside each card? $40.
