City Cops Investigate Overnight Stabbing

Watertown city police are investigating a stabbing that happened sometime overnight.

Lt. Joe Donoghue said the victim, a male around 17 years old, was stabbed sometime during the night, but didn't seek medical treatment until Friday morning when he walked into Watertown high school.

Police said the victim, whose name was withheld, is now hospitalized at Samaritan Medical Center.

He was in stable condition as of Friday afternoon.

The initial report of the stabbing was that it took place near Jreck Subs on State Street, but investigators haven't pinpointed where exactly the stabbing happened.
