Claxton-Hepburn CEO Resigns


After a decade on the job, the president and chief executive officer of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg is leaving.

Mark Webster announced his resignation on Thursday.

He has accepted a job as CEO of Cortland Regional Medical Center in Cortland, New York.

Officials said his last day at the Ogdensburg hospital is December 31.

Webster is moving to Cortland to be closer to his family in Pennsylvania.

Claxton-Hepburn plans to launch a nationwide search for Webster's replacement.
