Climax Fire Quickly Extinguished

It only took 20 minutes for firefighters from several departments to contain a fire at Climax Manufacturing in West Carthage Monday night.

A fire in one of the mill's dryer vents started just after 9 p.m.
 
Fire officials say thick smoke was coming out the top of the vents.
 
The fire was quickly put out and no one was injured.
