Cold Temps Hit North Country This Weekend

Jack Frost finally came to the north country this weekend.

Temperatures around -24 degrees were recorded in some spots Sunday morning.

Sub-zero temperatures kept many people indoors, but a few brave souls were out in the cold.

Most were handling the brisk weather pretty well.

"Well, we live in the north country, said John Pinsonneault. "We expect it."

"'Cause northern New Yorkers, we're used to it," said Mike Alteri. "We still don't like to see it come."

Though not quite as cold, Monday morning also saw temperatures dipping below zero.
