College Students Turn To Dog During 'Ruff' Time

The stress of final exams can take a toll on college students. That's why students at Clarkson University are turning to man's best friend for relief.
Bonnie is a two year old golden retriever who is interacting with students as they struggle through final exam week.

The dog is certified by Therapy Dogs International and was shared with the Clarkson campus during a visit to the library by owner Joan Kogut of Potsdam.

The library added the therapy dog to its list of stress-busting activities for finals week and many students took advantage by petting or giving her a belly rub.
University officials say they hope to be able to make the dog therapy sessions an annual event.
