Council To Hold Hearing On 'Roommate Law'

Watertown residents will get the chance to have their say on the city's controversial "roommate law".

The city council decided Monday night to hold a public hearing the on law.
That hearing is set for August 5 and will center on Mayor Jeff Graham's proposal to basically restore the law to what it was.
Earlier this year, the council adopted new restrictions on roommates living together in some residential areas.
The city's planning board has proposed its own version, but it hasn't been put into an official form for the council to consider.
