Counterfeit $100 Bill Shows Up In Potsdam

Potsdam police are warning local businesses to be on the lookout for possible bogus bills after a counterfeit $100 bill turned up at a local supermarket over the weekend.

The funny money was passed Sunday afternoon at Price Chopper in the Potsdam Plaza on Outer Market Street.

Police say they are working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in an attempt to track where the bogus bill may have originated.
