Crews Install Fence On Sledding Hill

Tools

A new fence is up at the bottom of the Thompson Park sledding hill.

Crews were there Thursday assembling an orange rope fence meant to keep sledders safe.

The fence replaces the big hay bales that have been used for years.

City council members were concerned the bales were dangerous when they became frozen.

Crews also tied big pads to several trees at the bottom of the hill.
