Crowds Enjoying Blues in the BayThe beautiful weather this Labor Day weekend has some people singing the blues in Alexandria Bay - and that's a good thing! The 12th Annual "Blues in the Bay" has taken over the village. It's a five-day music fest with free admission that features a variety of bands, including some from right here in the North Country. As organizers tell us, this type of music is for everyone: "It has such universal appeal, and of course, it doesn't really make you feel down. It makes you feel up when you are down," explained Steve "Beamer" Behm, of the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce. Anyone singing the blues because they missed out on Saturday's music still has plenty of time to get out and enjoy the event. Blues in the Bay continues through Monday.
