Sunday's snow didn't do much to slow down last minute shoppers in Watertown.

Nationwide, this weekend is set to be the busiest shopping period of thye Christmas season after black Friday. Overall, business is expected to be up about 2.5 percent.

Some of those shoppers were in the Target store on Outer Arsenal Street Sunday.

Karen Clark said she was thinking about family as she browsed.

"While I'm shopping, waiting in line, I'm actually thinking about them and the season, so nothing sets me off," she told 7 News reporter Candace Dunkley.

Other shoppers were equally calm.

"We got most of it done a couple of weeks ago, but there's always somebody else," said Ian Ingerson.

Carol Grant explained that she was just looking for "a few last minute surprises."

After all, she said, "I have five grandchildren."
