It was a splashing good time at the Dock Dogs jumping competition in Clayton. Onlookers experienced the excitement of Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Iron Dogs competitions. The canine athletes also competed in the furthest long jump competition, where organizer Mike Folson says a dog beat the world record last year, jumping thirty-one feet across the pool. "We set a world record right here in Clayton last year, it's still a standing record and the dog, Taz, is still competing," said Folson. "So Clayton's in the Dock Dog records and that's pretty neat." The event was part of Sailing Seaway Clayton, a festival that went all weekend long.
