Donations Sought For Families In Adams Fire

A donation drive was underway Sunday for the families burned out in Saturday's fire on Grange Avenue in Adams.

Fire that apparently started at 24 Grange Avenue then spread to a neighboring house. At least two families were displaced by the fire. (See our coverage of the fire here.)

Keith Schillinger, owner of Hometown Pizzeria and the Hotel Adams, began collecting toys and clothes for the families.

"Without the community, we aren't in business," he said. "And these people in the community are the ones who support us every day."

Donations of goods or money can be made at Hometown Pizzeria, or through PayPal at
