The hunt was on in downtown Watertown.
More than 300 kids participated in the Easter "EGGstravaganza" Saturday afternoon. The egg hunt took place right outside City Hall in Watertown. Kids scrambled to fill their baskets with as many Easter eggs as possible. The eggs were filled with candy and tickets for prizes. Parents we spoke to say the hunt was a lot of fun and great for the kids.
The free egg hunt was organized by the Downtown Business Association, Flower Memorial Library, Watertown Parks and Recreation and the Jefferson County Historical Society.
