Election Results: Mannsville Dissolution & Trustee Races

Tools

There will be a village of Mannsville for the foreseeable future.

Voters decided overwhelmingly not to dissolve the tiny village. The count was 106 to 17.

In the race for Mannsville trustee, Jim Pelton and Johnny Boenning both won seats.

There were village elections across the north country Tuesday.

One of the more interesting races was in Croghan, where two trustee seats were up for grabs.

No one decided to run, so people wrote in who they thought would be best for the job.

As a result, incumbent trustees Dawn Ashline and David Schneider regained their seats.

They each received 20 write-in votes.

In the St. Lawrence County village of Hermon, Benjamin Mucray and Rose Warren earned trustee seats, each with 18 votes. Nathan Young trailed with 16 votes.

In the Jefferson County village of Theresa, Howard Schnettler received 42 votes and Jonathan Walker had 44 votes to each win a trustee seat. Thomas Roberts trailed with 22 votes.
