Fair Ends With A Band -- And A Crunch

The last day of the Jefferson County Fair went out with a bang with a demolition derby.

Folks crowded the stands to see tires spin, mud fly, and, of course, cars smash into each other.
Nearly 20 drivers from all over the county entered a contest called the Toughest Man on Wheels.
I just love to watch them go 'smash' cars together, " said derby fan Tasha Plante.
"It's just funny to watch old cars get beat up like that," she said.
The last driver standing heads to the statewide demolition derby at the State Fair in Syracuse later this summer.
