Feedback: North Country Closes In On Record High Temps

It's March 7 and it feels more like a day in May thanks to sunshine and unseasonably mild temperatures.

According to the top reading at the Watertown International Airport, the high temperature climbed to 64 degrees.

That's just shy of the record of 66 degrees set in 1973.

The normal temperature for this time of year is 38 degrees.

At Watertown's Thompson Park, we found people having picnics, flying kites and enjoying the playground.

"We don't know how long this good weather will last so we need to enjoy it while we can," said Lori Ashley of Brownville.

By the way, the record low temperature for this date was -15 degrees and was recorded in 2007.
