Business is good at Stream Global Services in Watertown.

Since the beginning of November, the company has hired 221 people and that's just the start.

Now, the company is doing roughly $4 million worth of renovations and adding more new jobs.

"We're looking to bring about 300 people on board," said Michael Hill, human resources manager.

The company recently brought on a big new client, making the renovations and new hires necessary.

The new employees will work in the call center, providing technical support and customer service for Stream's clients.

"It's not an easy job, you know, a lot of people call in, they have a problem, they're angry sometimes, so we actually teach our people how to de-escalate angry people so we can solve their problems," said Hill.

Hill declined to say how much the jobs pay, but says there is an opportunity for advancement.

If you're wondering if there's a job for you at Stream Global Services, Hill says all it takes is basic computer knowledge and a willingness to help people.

"I'd say as long as you've got a good attitude, it's a good place for you," said Bryan Black, Stream site director.

Stream expects to fill the 300 new jobs by the end of the year.
