Festival of Trees Is Result Of A Lot Of Planning

Dozens of festive firs are filling the lobby of Watertown's Dulles State Office Building.

It's the annual Festival of Trees - a tradition showcasing some of the most creative Christmas trees you'll ever see.

It's also a fundraiser for Samaritan Medical Center and the YMCA that includes a gala and the Sugarplum Ball.

Getting everything ready takes months.

"Many of these people work all year long coming up with what their theme is and acquiring the items," said Beth Fipps.

The Festival of the Tress is open to the public during the day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
