Hundreds of people hit the streets Sunday morning for Walk MS Watertown.
The walkers raised more than $10,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Upstate New York Chapter.
More than 300 people came out with family and friends to take part in the three mile walk around Watertown.
"There are so many people that they know that either they are related to or friends of, or that are even affected by MS - it inhibits their ability to do things, you know, to walk, they're too tired - so you want to make sure you are able to raise money, not only for research but also for the fact that we provide support groups and various other opportunities for these people," said Sue Powers, of the National MS Society.
As of the start of Sunday's walk, participants have raised more than $10,000.
Organizers think another $20,000 will roll in over the next few weeks.
