Man Dies in Pulaski Apartment FireAn 88 year-old Pulaski man is dead following a fire at an apartment complex. According to the Oswego County Sheriff's Office, fire broke out just after 7:00 a.m., at Spring Brook Apartments on North Jefferson Street in the village. Investigators believe the fire accidentally started when 88 year-old Carl Tanner was cooking breakfast. The fire was contained to Tanner's apartment, and the rest of the building was evacuated. Those suffering minor injuries were treated at the scene. Tanner was transported to Oswego hospital for his injuries, where he was later pronounced dead. Officials say the exact cause of death is still under investigation, pending a medical exam. |
