Fire Damages Home In Town Of Adams


Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire Thursday at a town of Adams home.

The blaze broke out shortly before 11 a.m. at 19005 Minkler Road.

Officials said no one lives in the home, but it was undergoing renovations.

A passerby spotted smoke coming from the windows and notified authorities.

Volunteers from Adams, Adams Center, Rodman and Town of Watertown fire departments responded to the scene.

Officials said the basement and a first floor room were damaged in the fire.

There's no word on who owns the property.
