A fire in the city of Watertown forced people from their homes and into the cold early Tuesday morning.
The fire was at Gabriel Courts, an apartment complex on Olmstead Drive near Thompson Park.
Officials say the fire started on the second floor of the building and spread through the roof.
No one was hurt, but there's major fire damage to one of the apartments and three others sustained water damage.
"The fire was quite advanced when we made it to the scene," said fire battalion Chief Matt Timerman.
"We used some of our heavy fire streams to knock the fire down and then advanced in and extinguish the fire in the upstairs vacant apartment."
In all, five people were told they would need to find a new place to stay.
