Fire Leaves More than 1,300 Without Power in WatertownMany people in Watertown were in the dark this New Year's Eve, following an electrical fire in the city. It happened at about 6:30 Saturday evening on Ives St., near Flower Avenue West. Officials say a transformer fire broke out, leaving more than 1,300 in the dark. According to National Grid, power was restored by about 8:00 p.m. |
