Five People Injured in Clayton Car CrashOfficials say five people were injured early Saturday morning following a one car crash in the town of Clayton. It happened just before 2:00 a.m. on the Bald Rock Road. Police say 21 year-old Brian Bourcy of Clayton was driving when his vehicle went off the roadway, struck bushes and trees, went airborne and flipped onto its side. Four of the five people in the car were ejected. The driver, Brian Bourcy and 19 year-old Jonathan Korcz of Clayton were taken to Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown for treatment of lacerations. 20 year-old Devyn Montante of Depauville was also taken to Samaritan Medical Center for the treatment of a broken clavicle. Two passengers, 19 year-old Alexandra Bearup of Clayton, and 19 year-old Shelby Sible, also of Clayton, were airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Bearup is being treated for multiple facial lacerations. Sible is being treated for multiple facial, nasal and orbital fractures, a broken pelvis and other injuries. State Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. |
