It was a warm welcome home for two infant girls from Adams -- conjoined twins -- who were successfully separated at a hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
People in Belleville were out Thursday to celebrate the return of Allison June and Amelia Lee Tucker.
In November, 40 medical staff members worked for seven hours to separate the girls, who shared a chest wall, diaphragm and liver.
The girls' mother, Shellie Tucker, is thankful her daughters are healthy and is thankful for all the local support.
"The community has been awesome," she said.
"I have thousands of messages on my blog, that were sent to me by email -- just encouraging us through this process and everything."
The Tucker girls were treated at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Doctors there have successfully separated 21 conjoined twins.
