Former Girlfriend Testifies Oxley Threatened To Go On Killing Spree

An Ogdensburg woman who had a brief relationship with accused murderer Wayne Oxley says he threatened to go on a killing spree a week before murder victim Bernard Trickey was beaten to death with a baseball bat.

Bobbi Jo Gagnon testified Thursday that Oxley told her he was "going to go on a rampage and shoot everyone" several days before the August 30, 2005 murder.

Gagnon also told the court Oxley was heavily intoxicated the night Trickey was killed and had visited her residence four separate times throughout the evening.

Gagnon testified that Oxley said he needed an alibi because "his boys were coming up to take care of something."

Testimony will resume again Friday morning.
