Former Town Supervisor Killed in Car Crash

Former Canton Town Supervisor Frank Norton was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

Village Police say the 85-year-old Norton was driving east on West Main Street when his vehicle left the road, eventually coming to rest in front of the new BOCES building.

Norton was pronounced dead at Canton-Potsdam hospital.

Canton Police continue to investigate the accident.
