Fort Drum Soldier Pleads Not Guilty To Being AWOL

A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania man has pleaded not guilty to being AWOL from the Army at Fort Drum.

His attorney tells 7 News that Lamar Lawshe's trial at Fort Drum will begin February 2. 

Lawshe has been held at Fort Drum since October. 

He maintains he did not desert the Army. 

The military says it cannot find any paperwork saying he was legally discharged.
