Four Men Accused Of Beating, Robbing Watertown Man

Bail is set at $5,000 for four men who allegedly beat and robbed a Watertown man in the city late last night.

The mugging happened shortly before midnight Thursday in the 600 block of Boyd Street.

City police said 34 year old Paul Laduke of Watertown was attacked by four men who punched and kicked him before they robbed him of $150.

Police said he suffered cuts, bruises and a bloody nose and was was taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment.

The four suspects were arrested less than 30 minutes after the robbery.

They're identified as:

- 24 year old Tori Vick of 138 West Main Street in Watertown
- 26 year old William Payne of 617 Boyd Street in Watertown
- 22 year old Terrell Sweet of 1815 Olmstead Drive, Apartment 203-A, in Watertown
- 22 year old Ben Combs of 709 Phalen Drive, Apartment B, in Copenhagen

Each suspect was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

According to police, the men are Fort Drum soldiers who were visiting Payne at his Boyd Street apartment.
