Free Clothing Available For Job Interviews

Tools

The cost of dressing up for a job interview or an important occasion can be an expensive time - especially if you are a college student.

Since the St. Lawrence County American Association of University Women first began holding its free clothing fair at SUNY Canton 12 years ago, more than a ton of shirts, blouses, suits and other garments have been donated and given away free of charge.

"Those who come in to do their shopping are very excited that they have a place to come and get just the right outfit," said Betty Connolly, AAUW vice president

Any monetary donations that are received through the clothing fair are used by the AAUW for a scholarship.
