Friday: SLC Man Charged In Pot Grow
A St. Lawrence County man was being held Friday on $15,000 bail, after being charged with growing marijuana.
Police said they seized ten pounds of the drug.
Charged is Bryan H. Jenack, County Route 49, Stockholm.
St. Lawrence County drug task force investigators said they found a hidden marijuana growing room on Jenack's property, with ten pounds of the drug along with $6,700 in cash.
Investigators found processed marijuana and plants in the process of being dried.
Jenack was charged with criminal possession of marijuana 1st degree (C-Felony); criminal sale of marijuana 3rd (E-Felony) and unlawful growing marihuana (violation).
Jenack is to return to court January 4, 2012 at 10 am.
Assisting with the investigation were members of the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Canton Village Police Department, Potsdam Village Police, Gouverneur Village Police, SUNY Potsdam Police and the New York State Police.
