Depending on how you look at it, gasoline is either more or less expensive this Christmas week.
It's less expensive than it was back in September. Then, gasoline prices in the Watertown area peaked at an average of $4.10 a gallon for regular. This week, it's $3.60 a gallon.
On the other hand, when you compare this week to Christmas week 2011, gas is more expensive. Back then it was $3.40 a gallon.
The punch line? Look for the price to go up over the next couple of months.
