Gillis Family Raises Reward To $25,000

Tools

The family of Colin Gillis has raised the reward for information about his disappearance from $10,000 to $25,000.

Gillis, of Tupper Lake, was last seen March 11, 2012, when he was seen walking on Route 3 in the St. Lawrence County Town of Piercefield, near the border of Franklin County. Searches of the land and water in the area have yielded nothing.

"Somebody who might be withholding information, now might be a good time for them to step forward. $25,000 is a lot of money and it might be just enough to bring down one of those barriers," said Rob Gillis, Colin's uncle.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 518-897-2000.
