Gouverneur Man Charged In Stabbing

A Gouverneur man didn't get much time to enjoy his freedom.

Tyree Judge, 23, was released from the Onondaga County Correctional Facility, where he had been held on charges in the Syracuse area, only to be greeted by Gouverneur police, the web site CNYCentral reported.

Judge was subsequently charged with assault, first degree and criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree. Police said Judge stabbed a 20 year old man in the abdomen last June in the Key Bank parking lot in Gouverneur.

Judge was ordered held on $10,000 bail.
