Gouverneur Walkers Raise Nearly $100,000 For Breast Cancer

Tools

Hundreds of people of all ages turned out in Gouverneur Saturday to raise money to fight breast cancer.

It was the 12th annual Breast Cancer Walk put on each year by a group of Gouverneur business women and dozens of volunteers.

The event raised nearly $100,000. The money stays local to help people diagnosed with breast cancer.

7 News anchor Anne Richter served as honorary co-chair of the walk and was joined by WWNY local sales manager Lesley McKinney, who is a breast cancer survivor.
