Graves Retires From United Way

After 28 years, the president of the United Way of Northern New York is saying goodbye.

A retirement reception was held Wednesday for Jayn Graves.

The board of directors, staff and friends gathered to say thanks and help Jayn celebrate a new chapter in her life.

"I'm just very grateful for having had this wonderful opportunity," she said.

Jayn is an avid reader and plans to read even more books in retirement.

She also wants to stay involved in the community.

Bob Gorman has been tapped to replace her.
