Have You Seen This Man?

Roxanne Stratton is living a mother's worst nightmare.

Her 21 year old son, Jason Wing, hasn't been seen or heard from for months and his whereabouts remain a mystery.

"I just want to know where he is. I want them to find him. It's been too long," said Stratton.

Stratton says she last saw her son in the summer of 2010 at the West Potsdam Demolition Derby.

It has been since August that anyone has had any direct contact with the former Norwood-Norfolk Central School student who had been living in Fort Covington with a girlfriend.

His mother says he visited his girlfriend in the Franklin County Jail in August telling her he would be back to pick her up in a few days but never showed up.

He last logged into the social networking site My Space in September but left no message.

Birthdays have come and gone and "Winger", as he is known to family and friends, missed Christmas.

His mother just wants to know what happened to her son.
"I need to hear that he's alright. I just want him to come home. I want him to know that everyone misses him and they love him," said Stratton.

Family members worry that Jason Wing may have owed money to people with ties to the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation, possibly from a drug deal gone bad.

Stratton doesn't know whether her son may be in hiding, fallen victim to foul play or has just taken off.

Authorities say, for now,  they are treating Wing's disappearance as a missing person case.

"We have no indication of foul play being involved in this," said Captain Robert LaFountain of the New York State Police.

Anyone with information on Jason Wing's whereabouts is asked to contact State Police at Troop B Ray Brook at (518) 897-2000 or Massena State Police at (315) 769-7194.
