Head Of Resolution Center To Retire Friday

Wanted: someone who is a good listener and problem solver.

That's because the Jefferson and Lewis County Resolution Center is losing its executive director.

Linya Bell will retire on Friday after spending a decade in the role.

She says each day she put all of her energy into helping people.

"I will miss working with the volunteers. I've had a strong background of being a volunteer and so I will always be serving somewhere because I think that it's really important," said Bell.

Although leaving is bittersweet, Bell has big plans for retirement.

She wants to travel with her husband, a former soldier at Fort Drum.
