Help Kids Enjoy Christmas With CAPC Angel Tree

Tools

If you're looking for a way to help kids this holiday season, consider being an "angel."

The Community Action Planning Council's (CAPC) Angel Tree is set up at Watertown's Salmon Run Mall.

Here's how it works. Each child has a gift request that is put on the tree. You choose one, do a little shopping and return the gift to the tree.

Volunteers with the Angel Tree say it's a worthwhile experience.

"It's more about giving and we sure don't need any more gifts, that's for sure," said volunteer Patty Booth.

"We've done this for many years now," she said. "Instead of exchanging gifts, we bought for the kids."

The Angel Tree will stay up until December 14.

Also, the CAPC is looking for volunteers to help with the Angel Tree.
