Henderson Heritage Day Draws Record Crowd

The past and the present came together in Henderson Saturday. It was the 7th Annual Heritage Day and Craft show.

With more than 30 vendors on hand, live music, and even a puppet show, there was a little something for everyone.

Organizers say, this special day for the community keeps getting bigger and bigger every year.

"The more the better," said Garrett McCarthy, Henderson Historical Society President. "The more options the better. The more for people who are visitors and summer people and year-round residents, this is something they can count on now year after year as a growing viable event that takes place."

A record number of people turned out for this year's event, and organizers say they're already planning next year's.
