Christmas may be 45 days away, but in Carthage, they were already kicking off the holiday season.
People lined the streets of the twin villages on Saturday, as the parade rolled down State and Bridge streets.
The parade was also a part of the second annual food drive. People were encouraged to donate food at the parade.
Last year, 2,800 items were collected along with $3,300 for area food pantries.
