Homecoming Tuesday For 70 Fort Drum Soldiers

It was a big welcome home to more than 70 soldiers at Fort Drum Tuesday.

Troops from the 10th Sustainment Brigade were greeted by family and friends as they returned from a year-long deployment to Afghanistan.

The soldiers say coming home on September 11 adds even more significance to the occasion.

"I feel great, I feel very happy," said Spec. Negron Javer, "you know, a long year.

"A lot of experience, a lot of knowledge, it was good," he said.

The soldiers are part of the 33rd Financial Management Company.
