Hurdles Need To Be Cleared Before 'Mystery' Business Moves In

A mystery business that could bring some new jobs to the area is continuing discussions about moving into the old Cleaves building on West Main Street in Watertown.

Watertown Local Development Corporation head Don Rutherford declined to name the business, but says some hurdles need to be cleared before it will commit.

Specifically, the building will need to be appraised and environmental studies conducted on the site.

Rutherford tells 7 News he doesn't expect to have an answer from the business for a couple of months.
