An overpass over Interstate 81 in the town of Ellisburg is expected to be open to traffic by the end of Friday.
State transportation officials say State Route 193 over I-81 will be reopen to traffic by the close of business.
Officials say the detour allowed crews to pour concrete that was part of a $1.5 million project to replace bridge decks and repair the structural steel and drainage grates of the bridges crossing I-81.
