Indian River HS Senior Accused Of Sexually Attacking Female Student

A senior at Indian River High School is accused of sexually attacking a female student in a hallway during a change of classes.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department charged 18 year old Marcus Keyes with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17.

According to Deputy Carrie Mangino, the district's school resource officer, Keyes forcibly touched the intimate parts of a sophomore student.

The alleged incident happened last Wednesday morning in a school hallway as students changed classes.

Keyes was arraigned on the charges and released to his parents' custody.
