Interview: Graham Says Watertown Has Done Well

Watertown Mayor Jeff Graham is running for reelection after 16 years in that position.

He stopped by the 7 News studio for a look at his bid to hold onto his seat.

While on the campaign trail, Graham said he listens to what people are saying.

"I think the people are pleased with the progress the city has made in recent years," he said.

"I mean, in a nation where everyone says the  economy's in bad shape, our economy locally is doing reasonably well - our taxes are down, our debt is down, our bond rating is  up - all of these are positive things for Watertown," Graham said.

"It really is  the result, I think, of a city council and city administration  that's worked together pretty well."
