Interview With City Council Candidates: Jeff Smith

Incumbent Watertown City Councilman Jeff Smith says fiscal management is the biggest challenge facing the city right now.

During his appearance on 7 News at Noon on Thursday, Smith discussed his bid for re-election.

He says the city's increasing health insurance and pension costs continue to present challenges, but the council has been successful in decreasing the tax rate by 50 percent since the 2005 - 2006 fiscal year.
